There aren’t many photos on your site; why is that?

We do take before and after photos to show our clients how far they’ve come and to show them what their hard work has rewarded them. However, many of our clients are not comfortable with images of their homes being posted on the internet. At New England Organizing we respect our clients confidentiality and will only post photos if our clients have given us written permission. We are very grateful to those who chose to let us use photographs of their home on our website but our clients are under no obligation to do so.

I rent my home. Can I get organized without making a big investment in my apartment?

New England Organizing offers a variety of organization and storage solutions that are inexpensive and portable. We specialize in re-purposing items already in your home so that your financial investment is minimal.

My home is just too small; how can I be organized if I have nowhere to put anything?

If your home is too small to be organized then it is way too small to be cluttered. Even the smallest home can be organized and functional and attractive. The keys are using effective storage solutions and minimizing your clutter. New England Organizing will give you the tools to do both.

We have a big house. Why bother about a couple of crazy rooms, when we have enough space otherwise?

Clutter is like water, it finds it's own level. And clutter is also a living thing, unless you actively takes steps to prevent it, it grows and multiplies. Before you know it, your stuff is taking up more room than your family. New England Organizing helps you put the clutter in it's place and gives you back your home.

My sister in law watches all those organizing shows. Why should I hire you when she’ll help me for free?

Let’s put it this way…we’ve watched many ER episodes; it doesn’t make us qualified to remove your appendix! All joking aside, effective organizing is a skill. Some of the techniques can be picked up from television shows and self-help books, and those are certainly valuable resources, but those who are truly disorganized need qualified, experienced help in staying organized long after the family member or friend has left. Remember, it’s not how much you throw away, it’s how you function with what’s left.

It's just too much. Where do I even start?

Sometimes the amount of clutter and disorder in a room can be so overwhelming that it makes even the idea of getting it organized seem impossible. New England Organizing breaks up the tasks into bite-sized pieces. We make the tasks manageable and fun. Step by step we get the little tasks done, taking each item and deciding whether to Put It Away, Give It Away or Throw It Away.

I don't have the time. Clearing away my mess will take weeks.

Your time is the most precious thing you have and nobody is going to give you the time to get organized unless you give it to yourself. It's hard to think about starting a project if you think that it might end up taking more time than you have to spare.
